Area 49

Area 49, formed in the upstate of South Carolina in 2020. Their love for 90’s alternative rock brought them to form this dynamic rock band. The thing that makes Area 49 different than others of their kind is that each member’s individual musical influences are brought together to create the unique sound that they have become known for. With such a wide range of influences between these 4 guys, their blend of early 90’s alternative rock, southern rock, funk, and a touch of country can be heard in their original songs. Area 49 has been rocking the upstate and beyond on their journey toward putting their footprint on the music scene by offering their own brand of Rock and Roll. Since their inception, they’ve written and released 6 original songs that can be heard on all of your favorite streaming services to include their most recent release "Anywhere but Here". In the coming year, they are keeping their eyes on the horizon for more opportunities to perform regionally!
